Why Should I Hire a Health Coach?

"Vulnerability is about showing up and being seen. It's tough to do that when we're terrified about what people might see or think" -Brene Brown

"As unique as we all are, an awful lot of us want the same things. We want to shake up our current less-than-fulfilling lives. We want to be happier, more loving, forgiving and connected with the people around us." -Brene Brown

As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach I am often asked why someone would hire a health coach. I'll share a part of what I do.

My goal as your HC is to guide you through transitions in your life. We are all going through some sort of transition, right? Stepping stones to the “what is next” or “on the horizon.” I have had curve balls thrown my direction too many times to count! These are times that provide growth, but they can be very uncomfortable and even painful.

As your HC we will sit with your goals in your health and your life. Are you unhappy with your financial situation? Are your relationships struggling? Do you need more joy in your days? Okay, let’s work on that together. Do you know you need to be eating more vegetables, but not sure where to start? Are you confused by all the information on the web today and not sure what is the best for you? I can help with that, too.

As your HC we will take a look at all aspects of your life and make it better. Small action steps to work towards your bigger goals. Since we meet one-on-one two times per month over the course of 6 months you will get to walk through more than one season of life with me by your side, checking in with you, holding you accountable to your goals and commitments, and lending a supportive, listening ear when you need it.

I am most inspired from watching the people in my life realize their potential, in the moments they are faced with a challenge, full of fear and vulnerability, only to rise up and do it anyway. We may not always get something in the first, second, or the 100th try. That’s okay! How many times does a baby fall down before actually taking those first few steps? Yeah, life works a lot like that. Just as parents are there to help their child reach new stepping stones, I am here as your cheerleader to help you be successful where it is important to you!

Namaste, Love Bugs.
